Daniel and Cathy's Engagement Photos

I had the pleasure of taking some of my awesome friends engagement photos several weeks ago. Daniel and Cathy are the best! They are absolutely the cutest couple ever or this year anyway ;) We went to The Landing in downtown STL and took some awesome pictures, then afterwards we went over to City Park and took a few more neat shots. So here they finally are!

This was in  the parking garage overlooking the train tracks and the bridge. 

It was a hot day, but really beautiful. It was worth the sweat. 

It's hard to choose pictures when they are all amazing.

Had to get a shot with the ring. It's a black diamond; it's gorgeous.

Kailey's Senior Photos

Water is such fun to catch in a picture. This fountain was really pretty. 

This is one of my favorite closeups of Kailey. It's pretty and although simple, it's elegant. 

It's like Cinderella running from the ball, next her glass slipper will be falling off her foot.  

I love these pictures on the bench. 

She has the cutest pouty face

and the perfect smile...

I had an amazing time shooting with Kailey and her sister Megan. We had an amazing time, took some amazing pictures and I'm thrilled with the finish product. Thanks Kailey for being such an amazing model!

Dillard Mill

To take a break from Kailey's Senior Pictures (yes there are more!) I thought I'd share a few photos from when I was down at the historic Dillard Mill in Davisville Missouri. Essentially the middle of nowhere.  (June 19, 2010) It's really pretty out there. 

The little fence, the hay bales in the background, the sky and trees all make such a perfect setting. 

The colors in these photos are soothing. 

The flowers (or weeds) were pretty too. I love the way this flower looks like lace.

Fairytales and Horses

Kailey could be a girl in a fairytale. This dress, the gorgeous day and the horses were absolutely perfect.

Got to love the sun flare 

I was sitting under a tree about 100 feet away using my telephoto lens to get these great shots

Amazing Spring Day

To continue to catch up on photos from the spring, these shots are from Kailey's senior portraits. We finally got our nice spring day, so we went and took some amazing photos!

The park was beautiful. There were so many flowers blooming.

I absolutely love spring. It's my favorite season.
