Christmas Eve with DC

It was the most perfect Christmas Eve. I was really counting on a good snow and was not disappointed when I rolled out of bed and saw snow out the window. I knew Daniel and Cak really wanted to take some pictures in the snow and since snow can be scarce we have to enjoy it when it comes. Thankfully they were up for heading out in the cold for a few hours before celebrating Christmas with her family.
A walk through the snow on Christmas Eve, what could be more perfect?
The falling snow was so beautiful
I love the nostalgic feel of the black and white
Forest Park has all the best spots for photos.
Their red scarves were the perfect touch
 Yes. They are adorable.

This is the spot where Daniel proposed to Cathy
 They look so completely happy
This is one of my favorites
 Pictures on the footbridge
Daniel thought it would be funny to throw snowballs at me
This one really looks like a Christmas card photo
Sledding down Art Hill with all the kids in the background

I was really excited when I found that old sled to bring along for pictures.
Going to warm up a little bit
 Cathy is adorable

I love all the falling snow.

At this point my camera started freaking out a little

 Holly berries make everything happy
I LOVE this shot of the ring. It's such a stunning ring and this really shows off the details.
 Eating snow.

 Feet pictures are fun :)

The end of our gorgeous day in the snow.

Teaser: Christmas Eve at Forest Park

It was the most perfect Christmas Eve. Snow on the ground just in time for an amazing white Christmas. I grabbed some friends and spent a few hours enjoying the snow at Forest park. Here's a few shots the park covered in soft white snow. I'll share more pictures later.

Art Hill looks amazing covered in snow and it was fun to see all the kids out sledding.
Some of the pond was frozen

 Guess who?
 Lake House
Love catching the snow while it's falling.
Quick stop at Kaldi's warmed us up.
It was a great day for pictures.

Hannah's Senior Pictures

It was a beautiful fall day. I thought it was going to be cold, but it turned out to be perfect. I was really excited to get to take my cousin, Hannah's senior pictures. She's so much fun and we had a great time.

We borrowed the cute little pumpkin for the picture
We walked all around Faust Park that day. It was the day to be out! We saw at least 4 other photographers out, taking everything from engagment photos and senior photos to baby photos.
We "borrowed" a huge leaf pile that a couple had been jumping in for their photos.
We found this awesome wheelbarrow leaning against a shed and thought it would be super fun to use. So that was yet another "borrowed" prop. ;)
The sunlight was so pretty that day.
I love the leaves

Altogether it was a perfect day for pictures and I enjoyed having an afternoon to just ramble around the park with Hannah. I kind of wish I could just do that everyday. I'm not looking forward to the cold weather, but I am looking forward to  more fall pictures and then some good Christmas and winter pictures too!
